Vice President in digital at Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd., a global energy company that has played a leading role in pioneering and developing the Thai exploration and production industry for over 60 years.

20+ years of diverse experiences in digital and IT at Chevron, ranging from IT strategic planning, digital portfolio management, change management, and leadership roles in both Thailand and Bangladesh. Co-led the design and execution of Digital Transformation program for Chevron Thailand and Chevron Asia South business units.

Mr. Thanawee Kreethapon
Vice President, Digital Transformation Department
PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP)

Thanawee is the Vice President of the Digital Transformation Department at PTT Exploration and Production (PTTEP). He oversees digital transformation throughout the E&P value chain and fosters the development of a digital-first mindset among employees aimed at reducing costs and improving production and efficiency. He takes part in developing the EP Digital Platform and setting up the Digital Incubation Center at PTTEP. His team launched the DigitalX academy program to train over 1,600 employees across the organization.

With over twenty years of experience in the oil and gas industry, Thanawee has held several management roles at PTTEP, including Vice President of Thai Onshore Well Operations Department, where he managed up to 7 drilling and workover/completion rigs concurrently. He previously served as Vice President of the Well Engineering Department, overseeing well engineering management systems and well engineering standard documents. His ability spans both exploration and development phases of multiple PTTEP assets in Thailand, Malaysia, and Myanmar, providing him with deep insight into technical disciplines and operational aspects across the E&P value chain.

Leveraging his industry experience, collaborative approach, and commitment to innovation, he is positioned to lead PTTEP’s digital transformation to enhance future operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability.

Thiraphat Laosuwannaratchata (a.k.a. Tung) from Sapura Energy (Thailand) Limited holds a Master of Engineering (Civil) and has over 22 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including 13 years in project management. Starting as a technical engineer in a fabrication yard and offshore field engineer, he now serves as a Senior Project Manager. His project leadership includes EPCIC project for EVA and CPOC Phase 3 in the Thailand-Malaysia Joint Development Area and Zawtika Phase 1C in Myanmar. He has also managed pipeline design, fabrication interfaces, offshore installation in several countries and recently led Asia’s first pipeline decommissioning by reverse s-lay project in Thailand.
